Séminaire contrepoints autour de Les Forces vives
Becoming a woman? Simone de Beauvoir yesterday and today
Echoing the show Les Forces vives, directed by Camille Dagen in collaboration with Emma Depoid, two Paris-Sorbonne teacher-researchers and their guests debate gender issues.

As a counterpoint to Camille Dagen's production of Les Forces vives, based on Simone de Beauvoir's memoirs, a round-table discussion will bring together 4 speakers from a variety of disciplines, who will compare their views on “becoming a woman”, from Beauvoir's time - “one is not born a woman, one becomes one”, as she wrote - to the present day, and on the status of Beauvoir's feminism in contemporary society. The debate will be moderated by Frédéric Regard and Anne Tomiche.
With the participation of Camille Dagen.
And with :
· Anne-Emmanuelle Berger, Professor Emeritus of French Literature and Gender Studies, Université Paris 8 - Vincennes - Saint-Denis
· Raphaël Ehrsam, lecturer in philosophy, specialist in feminist philosophies, Sorbonne University
